Good afternoon everyone,
Our team and I hope this email finds you safe and healthy!
We have had a busy week, filled with Birthday’s, hallway bingo, patio visits and so much more. Our recreation team has been hard at work making sure our resident’s days are filled with many ways to be entertained.
We are happy to report that we remain a COVID free facility!
We conducted another round of resident testing this past week and all test results returned negative.
As we continue to maintain a COVID-free status, we will hopefully be able to reduce restrictions under the guidance of the CDC and CT Department of Public Health soon.
As you know, Governor Lamont ordered nursing home workers to be regularly tested for the coronavirus disease. We were able to execute an agreement with our Care Partner from Griffin Hospital to have testing done and the third round is being completed tomorrow. All employee results received so far have returned as negative.
Through ongoing testing we are hopeful to keep all our residents and employees safe and negative while at Maefair.
Our next “Town Hall” meeting is scheduled for Friday, July 17th at 4:pm.
